  • Job applicants, job seekers, IT contractors and others placed by Ellevate B.V. and other individuals in our search and any related databases in the context of our activity of employment business and employment agency.

We require personal data from you in order to be able to provide information, products and services to you and to fulfill any contractual obligations we may have with you.

We can store your data at various moments, for example when you visit our Website, when you submit your CV to us, use our Services or when you contact us. We need your data to carry out the agreement between us. If you choose not to share your data, then we may not be able to deliver our services or perform our duties.

What data do we collect and how do we use your data?

Candidate Data 

In order to provide the best possible fit for a new assignment and services tailored to you, we need to process certain information about you. We only ask for details that will genuinely help us to help you and this will also depend on what stage you are at in our recruitment process. This information may include:

  • Personal contact details such as name, title, addresses, telephone numbers, personal and work email addresses, Skype or other web ID;

  • Sex/Gender;

  • Nationality;

  • A copy of your driving license and/or passport/identity card;

  • Photograph;

  • Date of birth;

  • Languages;

  • Education/qualifications;

  • Recruitment information (including copies of the right to work documentation, references, referee details and other information included in a CV, resume or cover letter);

  • Immigration status (whether you need a work permit);

  • Social security number (or equivalent in your country) and any other tax-related information;

  • Employer and/or work history including applicable notice periods;

  • History of jobs applied for / placement history;

  • Financial compensation history such as salary or rate;

  • Marital status and dependants;

Client data

The data we collect about Clients is very limited. We generally only need to have your contact details or the details of individual contacts at your organisation (such as their names, telephone numbers and email addresses) to ensure that our contact runs smoothly.  We may obtain this information from you, from your employer (our Client) or from public sources and this includes:

  • Company information available on public sources;

  • Personal contact details of company employees we are in contact with such as name, title, work addresses, telephone numbers, work email addresses, languages and skills;

Market research

We may ask you to participate in market research. We will only use your data for the market research. You can close the questionnaire at any moment. We do not share your answers with others or make them publicly available. In addition, your answers are not connected to your e-mail address.

Newsletter

Ellevate B.V. sends out newsletters to keep you informed of our work, trainings and other news. We use an opt-in system; every time we send you a newsletter you have the possibility to unsubscribe from the newsletter.

We will only use your personal data for the purposes listed above or any other purpose that is connected thereto. 

Security

We work hard to protect your personal data from unauthorized or unlawful access, alteration, disclosure, use or destruction. That way, unauthorized persons do not have access to your data. We take the following measures to protect your personal data:
